Happy New Year

The New Year kicks off here at the Pavilion with the annual Caron Taxis Car Rally. The cars will set off and finish here.

We are pleased to welcome back the County Urdd Eisteddfodau which will be held at the Pavilion in March.

Following the success of last year’s ‘February Fun’ - an event organised by Communities First Uplands Villages of the Tregaron Area - a second one will be held here, but a little later in the calendar than last year hence the change in name to ‘March Fun’!.

The annual Festival of Quirks and Crafts will be earlier than usual this year on Saturday 28th April and the Group are busy with preparation for a very special activity/event which will be part of the Festival this year. I can only say at the moment that it promises to be a very exciting development for this annual event. Details will be on this page in the near future.

The May Bank Holiday will feature the annual Eisteddfodau Teulu James Pantyfedwen Pontrhydfendigaid and the weekend after will see the return of the annual Aber University students May Ball.

Cor Glannau Ystwyth will celebrate their 40th birthday with a special concert in June.

Cymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a Very Special 2 day event in July.

So these are just a few events that will be here over the first half of 2012.
